Development of high efficiency and high torque hollow cup motor based on medical mixing equipment

Development basis and background

From the perspective of industry trends, medical device motors represent the future development direction of high-end motors. Medical mixing devices, as part of medical supplies, currently mainly use hollow cup motors. At the same time, it also puts forward higher requirements for the performance characteristics and reliability of the motor itself. This product requires low current at the same time need to be able to output a relatively larger torque and speed than conventional hollow cup, the noise and motor life also put forward more stringent requirements. From the current company's hollow cup product structure, it needs to be redesigned and developed to meet this new demand for matching, in order to obtain customer recognition. Precision medical equipment and other transmission mechanism, the use is very wide, the market prospect is very broad.

 

Main R & D contents and results

 

R & D content:

1. Coil rearrangement and optimized winding system and brand-new fixture design-coils suitable for product functional requirements generally need to have an outer diameter of more than 10mm. Compared with air-core cup motors below 8mm, this coil winding system is more difficult, more complicated in process and more difficult to guarantee consistency. The project re-optimizes the arrangement of the coils, designs a new winding fixture at the same time, and uses 3-dimensional anti-truth to accurately calculate the rubbing and docking angle and position of the coils;
2. Unique hollow cup machined shell and front cover design-general miniature hollow cup motor, the motor shell is stamped and formed. The project designs the shell and the front cover separately, and the wall thickness of the shell reaches 0.5mm. Therefore, the use of low carbon or medium carbon steel with stronger magnetic conductivity for CNC machining batch forming can also greatly ensure the coaxiality and machining quality of the shell. At the same time, the front cover is integrally numerically controlled by A6063, its front end is tightly matched with the shell, and the extended part of the rear end is supported by magnetic steel assembly, at the same time, two stepped bearing chambers are arranged in the extension part, thereby reducing the use of magnetic steel sleeves;
3. Optimal magnetic field matching design based on efficiency-through the optimal design and utilization of magnetic steel performance and structure, at the same time, according to the actual situation of the customer's product load, find the best coil parameters to match the magnetic field, the work loss to a minimum.

 

R & D Results:

1. The project has carried out a more comprehensive analysis and research on the structure, process and automation of the motor, and has achieved good results in all stages. The efficiency of the product can reach more than 75 ~ 80%, and the torque of the 16mm diameter motor can reach more than 200gf.cm when there is no load at 10000RPM. Based on medical mixing equipment, at least 3 series models have been developed with high efficiency and high torque series hollow cup micromotors with more than 20 specifications.

2. The product structure and process of the project are original. The development and research of equipment and tooling are in the forefront of domestic research. The overall size of the product is small. High torque, efficiency and energy density; The process and assembly technology have high content and high cost performance. It is expected that its related technologies can also be extended to larger diameter hollow cup motors, and the application can be extended to robots, industrial equipment and other fields.
