Development basis and background

In the brush motor, a magnetic field magnet is fixed to an inner circumferential surface of a housing as a stator, an armature formed by winding each pole winding wire on an iron core is provided on a rotating shaft rotatably supported in the housing to constitute a rotor, and a commutator electrically connected to each pole winding wire is provided. The brushes are brought into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the commutator to supply power to the armature, and the direction of the current flowing through the winding wires is continuously reversed to change the magnetic field between the magnetic field magnets, thereby rotating the rotor. At present, the existing motor basically has only one layer of brushes. The brushes are vulnerable parts. During the rotation of the commutator, the brushes are continuously worn and consumed. When the wear reaches a certain level, the entire motor will not work and then be scrapped. This makes the brush an important factor affecting the service life of the motor.

 

Main R & D contents and results

 

R & D content:

1. Research on key technology of multi-layer brush structure end cover design
The slot on the mounting seat ensures that the brush is tightly attached to the commutator to make elastic contact between them. The double-layer brush is formed by folding two brushes. When the first brush of the double-layer brush is seriously worn and unable to work, the second brush will automatically contact with the commutator elastically. When the second brush is also seriously worn and unable to work, the single-layer brush will automatically contact with the commutator elastically, effectively prolonging the service life of the motor, compared with the previous need for manual maintenance and replacement, higher efficiency, lower cost.
2. Research on key technology and device of multi-layer brush assembly
1) Development of rear cover vibration, queuing and feeding mechanism;
2) Establishment of brush positioning, detection and pressing model;
3) Design of automatic blanking mechanism;
4) the design of the tray mechanism and fixture, etc.

 

R & D Results:

1. Apply for at least one patent and obtain one patent authorization.
2. A set of multi-layer brush insertion machine with high automation, flexibility and modularity has been developed. This full-automatic brush machine can arrange and position the end cover, so that the end cover can be queued according to the direction of the brush slot when entering the discharge rail, so as to avoid the deviation of the position and direction of the end cover, thus ensuring the accuracy and stability of automatic brush insertion, realizing full-automatic multi-layer brush insertion into the end cover, and improving the production efficiency.
3. Form independent intellectual property rights, solve the shortcomings of short life and poor assembly consistency of iron core micro-motors, increase the life of motor end covers and brush components by more than 1 times, and increase the process yield by more than 10%. Greatly improve the market competitiveness of enterprises.
